Standard brightness and high brightness in combination with wide viewing angle
Tianma announces start of mass production of two 10.1” WXGA (1280 x 800) displays. TM101JDHG32 is a high brightness version with a luminance of 1000 cd/m2 and a LED lifetime of 50k hours. TM101JDHG38 has standard luminance of 400 cd/m2 and a LED lifetime of 30k hours.
Both displays are designed for an operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C. They utilize SFT technology, providing wide and equal viewing angle from each direction without color shift. Each display has an integrated LED driver.
Above features make them very recommendable for many industrial indoor and outdoor applications.
TM101JDHG32 is complementing a family of four standard products with similar outline, same interface connector, pinout and touch driver IC. The corresponding 10.1” WXGA with PCAP is TM101JVHG32. The other two products are 7” WXGA without PCAP (TM070JDHG34) and 7” WXGA with PCAP (TM070JVHG33).
More 10.1” WXGA displays
TM101JDHG32 and TM101JDHG38 are two out of six standard displays which are recommended for new designs from the 10.1-inch WXGA line-up.
Common features between all of them are:
- · WXGA resolution
- SFT technology
- LVDS interface
· Differentiation factors are:
- Operating temperature range
- Backlight lifetime
- Backlight driver
- Ruggedization level
· A typical standard display has a brightness of 400 to 600 cd/m2 while the high brightness area begins at 800 cd/m2. The operating temperature range can be chosen from -10°C to +50°C if cost is a major driver up to -40°C to +85°C if high-end performance is required. One display is even ruggedized (6.8G). The backlight lifetime from the displays varies between 20k hours to 70k hours.
TM101JDHG38 is slightly spec and cost reduced version of TM101JDHG30.
